SP DRAFT

            (THE WALK)

           (BASED ON A TRUE STORY)

IT WAS A 9KM WALK FROM SCHOOL TO SPENCER PARK.

When we started walking I found it  okay at first, then when the 4th km came, my legs and feet got cramps.

I was hurting inside and out I thought my life was crumbling down hill real fast.

After the 5th km I fell over very badly. Actually I take that back I tried falling over so I could take the vans there but I failed to succeed.

At the last km one person said it’s only 5 more minutes. It turns out there were 30  minutes left like man.

THE PREDATOR:

On monday night we played predator, “How do you play the game?” Well all the parents and  teachers are in you line up in lines and get 6 tuis if you get caught then you give them one it’s like tag! If you lose all your lifes then you have to sit in the gazebos and wait for the game to finish.

Noel, Rohal, Ella and I were in a small group. We ran in front of the park and we just hid in bushes and ran. This game was very fun!It felt like I was in an actual horror game!

SLEEP:

When it was time for bed I brushed my teeth and went into my tent to sleep. I got some sleep but my mates were running out of their tent. IT WAS SO NOISY. But after I think I got about 3-4 hours of sleep! The end

Technology 🤖

Kia Ora Ko Xaria toku Ingoa. Today on the 14th of February I will talk about Technology  and how it was on 13th of February.

It was a bit weird at the start. We had to line up in lines when we got there. We had to line up in our groups not usually but it was okay. My group was named 8B I didn’t really like this group because of people.    My group went to sewing for the first activity for a whole term!

Her name was Nat or you could say her last name is Ms Shrimp. And some random who decided to act like a class clown🤡.

Said “hey miss can I have A Shrimp?” for some reason it was funny for other people My mate and I didn’t find it funny.

after like 20-15 Minutes He decided to bark. Yes bark. It was completely weird honestly but other than that it was an amazing technology day!

Also next week on Thursday I am going to start making a bag!

Ms Nat couldn’t say my name properly which kinda got me mad she called me eggzaria?? like what then she proceeded to call me Zaria, My real name is so easy to say its literally just X aria like?????

I learned about climate change in the glass apparently people are taking out the rubbish out of the water.

THE END

My reflection of the week

Kia Ora, My name is Xaria I would like to talk about my week at what were my ups and downs!

The positive:

I was super excited to come to school on Monday because I got to see my friends! plus my new year 7 friends. Also Becoming a Year eight Made me a bit exhausted about thinking what I had to do. But when I came to school on Monday I was just so relaxed all that worrying just faded away like PUFF ☁. I really enjoyed watching my mates play touch This week it was entertaining and fun! And I am getting really good at my handwriting I think that this week has been amazing some of the school lunches were nice and they tasted good not amazing in my opinion but good!

Negatives: At the start of the year I was very worried I would be bad at being a Year eight but no I was good.   I wasn’t good at listening without day dreaming witch was a bit weird I am normally hold on sometimes most of the time alert!  But I think there wasn’t really bad negatives! except the ones I just said!

I am looking Forward to camp because I think this activity will be awesome and fun, My Mum Patrice Will be helping out with camp

In conclusion I think that My week was amazingly great!

Thank you for Reading

Choice and Challenge

For Choice and Challenge, I do playdough with the junior students.  Playdough, you might ask. Well before I tell you I should tell you what Choice and Challenge is! Choice and Challenge is a school thing for the junior tamariki. On Fridays the tamariki choose which Choice and Challenge activity they want to go to. There is Gymnastics, touch, soccer and a lot more but let’s not get into that.

Some kids chose playdough. The members of the Playdough team are Ryleigh, Riley, Bella and me. Before the tamariki sit down the teachers read a book to them in different places in the classroom. This gives us enough time to get the plastic containers and spoons on the tables in the kitchen and also water! The ingredients you need to make playdough are flour, salt, oil and water. You need to use 2 cups water, 2 cups flour, ½ cup salt, 2 tbsp cooking oil and 2 tbsp food colouring. You combine the water, salt and food colouring, and boil until dissolved. Then you mix in cooking oil, and flour while the water mixture is still very hot. Then you have to knead it until it is smooth.

I think I showed the RISE value of success because I was successful with this activity.  The kids in my opinion were having heaps of fun playing with the playdough after they made it! And I loved helping the kids make their playdough even though I had to make the playdough sometimes! In conclusion, I think I did great with this activity!
