My goals at the start of the year were to get better at maths and literacy. I wanted to get better at my times tables and I can now! I can go up to 7x tables. For literacy I wanted to get better at handwriting. It’s a bit off but it’s getting better. Moving forward, I would like to keep working on handwriting.
At the beginning of the year, I thought Celebration was just to celebrate a birthday or to celebrate a wedding or a special day to celebrate but I found out there’s more to that than just celebrating. We can discover and share our beliefs and share our favourite memories together, talk about history and we also made some sculptures about celebrating. What I learned is that celebrating is a very special thing to bring people together and share food and stories.
I made positive stickers in Term 1! Mine was pretty blue, pink and violet colours. This activity was very hard and annoying but after a while i got the hang of it!
In Term 3 and 4, our focus was on the celebration of Diwali. What is the true message of Diwali? It symbolises the spiritual victory of Dharma over Adharma, light over darkness, good over evil, and knowledge over ignorance. It basically says light is better over darkness. That’s what I’ve been learning about. Here’s the work I have finished over that term. I’ve learned about the dance of rama and sita. Let me show you!
(Symbolism) Dance performances during Diwali often visually represent the core themes of the festival, such as the victory of Rama and Sita over Ravana, and the return to Ayodhya, which is celebrated with lights. The lights mean the victory of Rama and Sita!
I want to celebrate my achievements for being responsible for my learning and staying out of drama and trouble. I also want to celebrate my editing skills. I have tried a lot and I’m getting better and better and that’s what I want to be for my future job. I will work really hard to understand the concept!
